Stix and Leaves Pueblo (5MT11555) is a large multi-room block site
                                                           situated near the edge of Alkalai Canyon in Montezuma County,                   northwest of Cortez Colorado.  The research project was sponsored by the landowners; Nick and Anh Fergis. 

One of the room blocks, H, was selected for thorough excavation, which revealed serial occupations spanning the mid-10th through mid-eleventh centuries overlying a late 9th century structure.  The10th century is poorly represented in the region making the results of this research significant.
