This is a matched set of the two iconic fluted points of North and South America.  Both are of basalt from south of the Grand Canyon, Arizona.  They were made on consecutive days and are approximately the same size.  The Clovis (R1201) is 112 mm long, 39 mm wide, 8 mm thick and weighs 40.1 grams.  The Fishtail (R1209) is 197.5 mm long, 42.5 mm wide , 7 mm thick and weighs 39.8 grams.
