As with all offered replicas this piece was hand-made by Bruce Bradley using techniques and tools avaiable to the original makers.  The silicified sandstone was obtained from the Catalan Seco source in northern Uruguay, which was exploited by the fishtail knappers over 12,000 years ago.  This point is made from a multicolored piece and represents a 'classic' form aqnd technology, with fluting on both faces. It is 91mm long,  43.6mm wide and weighs 28.4 grams.
