Pay Paso points have only recently been identified and studied.  Their range is unnknown but have been found at the Tigre and pay Paso sites in northern Uruguay.  They date around 11,000 years old.

Pay Paso point replica

  • This replica was made of agate from the Catalan area of northern Uruguay.  A piece of the agate was heat treated to 425 degrees F, otherwise the stone is not flakable.  It was shaped and finished with direct percussion and selective pressure.  made by Bruce Bradley December 2020.
