Rio Clarense points are found in Early Holocene sites primarily in Brazil.  They are one of the earliest bifacial points in the region dating to 8,000-7,000 years ago.  They are best known from the Alice Boer site near Rio Claro, SP, Brazil.  This replica is made from JV agate from Sunrise, Wyoming.
