Rioclarense points are the oldest bifacial points found in Sao Paulo State, Brazil.  They are best known from the Alice Boer site near Rio Claro, SP, Brazil.  They date between 8,000 and 7,000 years old.

  • This replica is made of Montero silicified snadstone, Bastos Blue variety, from near Dourado, SP, Brazil.  It was shaped by direct percussion and pressure flaking.  Made by Bruce Bradley 2018 in Brazil.
