I have taught knapping informally to hundreds of people over the years and had one major research grant (Learning to be Human) that included training of a small group of students over 3 years. Other than training as an integral part of the University of Exeter's Experimental Masters Programme       most of my recent training has been in the for of practical workshops.  These generally consist of 4 days of intensive practical training in the basics of knapping over a five day period.  Each workshop includes the same basic fundamentals but each is customized for specific group interests as well.  I can also offer more advanced and/or focussed sessions,for example Paleoindian bifacial technologies, blade technologies, Levallois technology etc.  Since I have retired I am anxious to share my skills and knowledge while still able.
